The ACE Hub Youth Event 2026 is a global capacity-building initiative designed to empower young people to actively contribute to climate action under the framework of Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) as outlined in Article 12 of the Paris Agreement. The event will take place in person from 4–6 June 2026 in Bonn, Germany.
The programme aims to strengthen youth competencies in climate governance, public engagement, and community-based climate action. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and international networking among young leaders engaged in climate change initiatives
The event will feature Interactive training modules on youth engagement in policymaking processes, Skills development sessions on climate leadership and advocacy, Practical approaches to community awareness and behavioral change, A field excursion to Düsseldorf to observe local climate action practices, Opportunities to contribute to the development of the ACE Hub Youth Alumni Network, Participants will gain exposure to global perspectives while strengthening their capacity to implement scalable climate solutions in their local contexts.

Requirements:
Completed application form submitted before the deadline
Secured funding source (for self/externally funded applicants)
Valid travel documents and visa (if applicable)
Ability to participate physically in Bonn, Germany
Health and travel insurance arrangements

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be aged between 18–35 years at the time of the event
Must be proficient in spoken English
Must be available to participate fully in-person from 4–6 June 2026
Must not have participated in previous ACE Hub Youth Events
Demonstrated knowledge, interest, or experience in ACE-related areas (climate education, public awareness, training, public participation, and access to information)
Preferably engaged in local climate action initiatives, particularly with municipalities or subnational governments
